Vision
I build cultural architectures that enable societies to remember and preserve their collective memory and values. These architectures unite physical spaces, media, and practices to strengthen cultural continuity over technological novelty. My work integrates artistic, academic, and diplomatic frameworks into a coherent system of authorship designed to endure as technologies evolve.
Teaching
Media arts must move beyond technical instruction to address the systems of perception that shape how we create, interpret, and preserve cultural expression. My work develops methodologies that unite image, sound, and code into a single cognitive architecture, refined over eight years of teaching in China’s leading institutions. Presenting audiovisual media as a shared structure and way of thinking, this practice fosters cross-cultural understanding, creative risk-taking, and meaningful learning that reshapes how culture communicates.
