Oliver Schulte
Vision
I develop media frameworks that allow cultural content, ideas, and artistic work to be experienced, understood, and sustained over time. My work brings together physical spaces, media, and cultural practice in ways that support continuity rather than technological novelty. It connects artistic, academic, and institutional contexts through structures designed to remain meaningful as media conditions change.
Teaching
I teach students how to develop and articulate their work within complex media environments. My approach connects image, sound, and computational processes as a unified structure, enabling students to understand how their work operates, not only how it is produced. Developed over eight years of teaching in leading institutions, this methodology treats audiovisual media as a shared language and way of thinking. It supports conceptual clarity, creative risk-taking, and meaningful learning across different cultural and educational settings.
Analects
These works span different fields, but are connected by a common focus on structure, how images, sound, and spatial media organise perception and meaning across situations.
